Roosevelt Man Found Dead After Tanker Crash

ARCADIA, Utah – The driver of a tanker truck was killed when his vehicle rolled off the road in a remote part of Duchesne County.
Deputies were called to the scene near 13000 West 3800 South near Arcadia, about 15 miles west of Roosevelt.
Officials with the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office said another driver came upon the crash and called 911 emergency dispatchers.
It was not clear how long the vehicle had been there.
When crews arrived on the scene, they found the male drive4r deceased. He was identified as a 59-year-old man from Roosevelt. His name wasn’t released.
Investigators were working to determine the cause of the crash.
Officials said a “small amount” of fluid used in the extraction of oil and natural gas leaked from the tanker and into a field.
