AT&T Promised $1 For Every #LOVELOUD Tweet And Retweet, And Twitter Got Creative

SALT LAKE CITY – The second year of the LOVELOUD Festival drew between 35,000 and 40,000 people July 28 to the Rice-Eccles Stadium at the University of Utah.
Hosted by comedian Cameron Esposito, the LGBTQ+ benefit concert featured performances from Imagine Dragons, Zedd, Mike Shinoda, Grace VCanderwaal, Tyler Glenn, Vacabon and A.W. — as well as an appearance by Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Before the show started, though, festival sponsor AT&T tweeted, “… Tweet hashtag #LOVELOUD We’ll donate $1 for each tweet to support LGBTQ youth!”

Twitter was there for it, bombarding the social media network with retweets and messages of love and acceptance.
And lots and lots of rainbows.
Most Tweets were a simple variation on the message that a tweet or retweet would earn charities $1. However, some went above and beyond.
