Olivia Newton-John has beaten breast cancer — twice. On Sunday, the singer announced doctors diagnosed her yet again.
It’s the third time in as many decades.
She revealed the news on the CNN-affiliate Seven’s “Sunday Night.” The new cancer, which doctors discovered in 2017, is at the base of her spine.

She’s dealt with cancer twice already, once in 1992 and again in 2013. As a survivor, Newton-John has become an advocate for cancer awareness. She even has a cancer center named after her.
The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness Research Center, located in Australia, earned praise earlier this year. Olivia tweeted about the honors in July:

Newton-John said she’s undergone radiation treatment. She’s also cutting sugar from her diet and using cannabis oil. The oil comes from marijuana her husband grows in California.
Despite the diagnosis, the singer has a positive outlook.
“I believe I will win over it,” she said.
