SANDY, Utah – As a new OptumCare Community Center prepared for its grand opening, Quin Bommelje was on hand to lead some ballroom dancing.
You may remember Quin as the 71-year-old ballroom dancer who wowed the judges on “America’s Got Talent” this year.
As part of the center’s grand opening, Quin was encouraging seniors to get active.
“I want to spread the good news,” she said. “Age is just a number. I want people to know that your life begins here. A good attitude, purpose, passion, creates power.”
The OptumCare Community Centers are to help people 55 and older achieve their maximum health and emotional well-being. The grand opening will be Friday at 1403 E. Sego Lily Drive, Suite 100, in Sandy. The community is invited from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to participate in events.
