GRANT’S PASS, Oregon – Two men from Utah were shot and killed in Oregon early Friday morning, and the suspected gunman was taken into custody, police said.
At 3:04 a.m., officers from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety were called to 1760 Harbeck Road, in Grants Pass, Oregon, because of a “disturbance” with a “firearm involved,” according to a statement from the police department.
Upon arrival, officers found Christopher Wayne Lyon, 42, and Justin Scott Severnak, 38, deceased. A third man, identified by police as Trevor A. Gillmore, 44, of Grants Pass, was interviewed and later arrested for investigation of two counts of aggravated murder and unlawful use of a firearm.
