Funeral Services Finalized For Officer David Romrell

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Funeral services have been finalized for police officer David Romrell, who was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle Nov. 24.
South Salt Lake City Police Department announced the funeral will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 5 at the Maverik Center, 3200 S. Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City. There will be a viewing from 9 – 10:30 a.m.
There will then be a procession to Larkin Mortuary in Sandy.
A candlelight vigil will be held Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. at Columbus Community Center, 3495 S. West Temple, Salt Lake City.
The families of Heber City Police Department officers are preparing for officer Romrell’s funeral by making ribbons to pass out. The ribbons are blue with a thin, black line, which shows support for fallen law enforcement officers.
