PARK CITY, Utah – The annual Gingerbread Jimmi House Competition is happening for the 10th time.
KSL TV’s adventure specialists Trace Worthington and Sean Smith caught up with J.R. Holbrook, author of “Gingerbread Jimmi: Magical Storybook” and founder of the event.
Children ages 5 – 12 are invited to participate by bringing their gingerbread creations to the library before 6 p.m. for judging. The houses will be on display until New Years Day, and prizes will be awarded to the top entries.
“It’s like $50, $75 and $100 — cash,” Holbrook said.
The Gingerbread Jimmi House Competition is from 6 – 8 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., Park City. The event is free.
