Remembering George H.W. Bush’s Visits To Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – As the body of former President H.W. Bush is being flown to Washington, D.C., to lie in state, staff at KSL TV combed through the archives to find video footage of the three times Bush visited Utah during his presidency.
He first visited the Beehive State in September 1991, when he commended Utah for its focus on education, workforce and service efforts.
Bush’s other two trips were in 1992 when he attended a fundraiser, met with patients at Primary Children’s Hospital, and spent time with leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
