Keep Pets Safe During The Holidays

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – As you’re busy decking halls and wrapping gifts, don’t forget about your pets.
The holidays can be stressful for our furry friends, too.
A veterinarian has suggested owners get their pets moving around the holidays to help tame stress.
Owners are urged to avoid low-hanging decorations that pets might get hold of.
Keep poinsettias out of reach; they can cause nausea and vomiting if ingested by pets. A large amount could cause poisoning.
Keep human treats out of reach, too. Chocolate, raisins, nutmeg and other items that are fine for people can actually be toxic to dogs.
