Salt Lake Acting Company Paints The Town Pink With ‘Pinkalicious’ Musical
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – If you’ve got kids, you’ve probably heard of it: “Pinkalicious.”
The story of Pinkalicious Pinkerton and her adventures in Pinkville is now a musical, and it’s playing in Salt Lake City.
KSL TV’s adventure specialists Trace Worthington and Sean Smith went to the Salt Lake Acting Company to get a peek at the production.
“It’s magical how this book will come to life on our stage,” said Cynthia Fleming, executive artistic director for Salt Lake Acting Company, as she described the show. “Pinkalicious ate too many cupcakes, she woke up and realized she has turned pink.”
Trace and Sean got to meet the cast then took in some of the numbers from the musical as colorful characters danced and sang on the stage.
The show runs through the end of December at Salt Lake Acting Company, 168 W. 500 North, Salt Lake City. There will be performances at noon and 3 p.m. every day. For more information, and to purchase tickets, go to saltlakeactingcompany.org.
