WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) — Authorities say a small plane crashed in West Jordan, but the pilot walked away with no injuries.
The plane went down Tuesday morning near the West Jordan Soccer Complex.
Police say the 42-year-old pilot was doing touch-and-go maneuvers at South Valley Regional Airport.
He reportedly came in high on one of the landings and decided to abort the landing.
However, the plane’s engine died and the aircraft fell about 100 feet and landed on the side of the New Bingham Highway.
The pilot is from Lehi and wasn’t the owner of the plane.
