Skier Accused Of Attacking Officer After Learning Of Full Parking Lot

BRIGHTON, Utah – A skier is accused of attacking a police officer after he couldn’t get a parking spot at Brighton Ski Resort.

According to jail documents, 21-year-old Nathan Sheffield Harrison refused to stop his car and wouldn’t follow parking lot attendant and police orders when he arrived Saturday at approximately 10:15 a.m. to find the lot full.

Police said a scuffle ensued and the season ticket holder hit the officer, attempted to grab his gun and shoved his head into a snow bank.

Instead of hitting the slopes, Harrison found his way to a jail cell.
