WELLSVILLE, Utah – A Cache County jail inmate who escaped from a work assignment Thursday is back in custody.
Joshua Aders, 32, was arrested by Adult Probation and Parole in Farmington Monday night.
He had been working at the American West Heritage Center Farm as part of a community work project, according to the Cache County Sheriff’s Office, when he reportedly stole a truck and drove away.
Authorities said Salt Lake City Police found the truck Aders stole parked in an alley.
Aders was to be released from jail this May for charges including theft and fraud, but he’s most likely looking at more time now.
