Multiple Schools Close Across Northern Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Multiple schools across the Wasatch Front closed their doors due to heavy snow and traffic after one of the largest storms dropped massive amounts of snow on the region Tuesday morning. In some neighborhoods, snow was as deep as 15 to 18 inches.
School closed included:

- Granite School District
- Jordan School District
- Murray School District
- Park City Schools District
- Salt Lake City School District
- Tooele School District

- Ameritech College of Healthcare
- LDS Business College
- Salt Lake Community College – all campuses closed
- University of Utah – daytime classes on campus
- Westminster College – daytime classes canceled

- Salt Lake County government offices – most offices closed
- State employees on four-hour delay; open at noon
- Tooele County government offices – open at noon
- No trash pickup in many locations

-Tooele is March 15. It was a teacher planning day.
-Murray also uses a teacher work day for makeup.
-Salt Lake and Granite are taking back the Friday before Memorial Day.
-Jordan and Canyons are taking back Presidents’ Day.
-Park City is tacking a day on the end of the year.
