SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Friday morning got off to a shaky start for some northern Utah residents — literally.
Residents in and around Bluffdale were awakened by a pair of earthquakes — a 3.1 and a 3.7 — and it had them shook.

Residents from the bipedal to those that walk on all-fours felt the quakes.
You probably felt the quake this morning in Utah County — and so did this poor kitty! This video was sent to us by Jacob Scott after the earthquake scared his cat in Herriman. Thanks, Jacob! #KSLTV #Earthquake #utahearthquake pic.twitter.com/YYmiAzTVre

For some folks, it was a brand-new experience.
Me after being woken up by this #Utah #earthquake I’ve never experienced one before and I hope I never do again #sendwine pic.twitter.com/qKkmh257Od

But others didn’t notice a thing.
Apparently I slept through two earthquakes last night. #herriman #earthquake

However intense the quake was, though, most of Utah agrees on one thing:
I totally slept through all the excitement. 🤷🏻♀️. #earthquakes #Quake pic.twitter.com/vr4NcP1DWD
