SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Salt Lake City International Airport announced today what restaurants will be opening in fall of 2020.
With large windows looking out east to the Wasatch Mountains this multi-year redevelopment project is well on its way to be completed by 2024. The restaurants opening next year are a big part of the first phase in the project.
Referred to Wednesday as one of the most extraordinary spaces at any airport in the United States, the renovated area will also be filled with some of the most diverse and extraordinary concessions in the country.

From fine-dining to coffee, travelers will have diverse options before or after a flight.
From some local favorites like Café Rio, Salt Lake Brewing Company, Blue Lemon, Smash Burger and Beans N Brews to some new options like Shake Shake with pricing to match your own pocket book.
“You’ll be able to shop with confidence our concessionaires are committed to street pricing which is to say if you are paying for a product in our neighborhood in Salt Lake or my neighborhood in Cottonwood Heights and it’s $5, at the airport it will be $5,” said John Buckner, Director of Administration & Commercial Properties, SLC.
Opening up their first airport location, Beans & Brews will also be an option for those looking for hot or cold a cup of joe.
“We are so excited… such an opportunity for us. (We’ve) been part of the local community for 26 years now. So for us to be part of the future here at the new airport is just an incredible honor,” said Jeff Laramie of Beans & Brews.
A total of 23 food and drink options will be available.
