Police Identify Man Killed In Auto-Pedestrian Hit-And-Run

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – Police have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run incident that happened March 9.
Authorities said two men, one of whom was Michael Corby Westover, 42, of Salt Lake City, were crossing at the intersection of 3300 South and Main Street just before midnight when they were hit by a Chevy Trailblazer.
Both men were transported to the hospital, where Westover was pronounced dead. The other man, a 33-year-old Salt Lake City resident, remains in critical condition.
Officials are asking anyone who might have information to contact South Salt Lake Police at 801-412-3600. The Chevy is described as dark-colored, and the crash would have done significant damage to the vehicle, authorities said.
