Driver Extracted From Vehicle After Car Rolls On I-70

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A driver had to be extracted from a vehicle after it rolled several times on I-70 in Grand County on Wednesday, authorities said.
According to the Grand County Emergency Medical Services, a vehicle with a single occupant was traveling westbound at approximately 7:45 a.m. when the driver lost control and rolled multiple times.
The Green River Fire Department had to extract the driver, who was initially treated by first responders before being air lifted to a nearby hospital, officials said.
According to the GCEMS, the patient sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently in critical condition.
The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
