KEARNS, Utah – Unified Police arrested the 17-year-old stepbrother of a teenager who was shot and killed while playing with a shotgun March 18.
Police said the victim, a 16-year-old boy, and his stepbrother were playing with the shot gun and “swinging it around” in a bedroom when it went off. Authorities said the boys didn’t know the gun was loaded.
The mother of the 16-year-old, though, said the shooting was “no accident.”
“He killed my son,” she said, referring to the 17-year-old stepbrother.
