Man Charged With Threatening Woman, Holding Her Hostage For 6 Days

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Charges have been filed against a man who is accused of holding a woman against her will and trying to strangle her.
Feroz Sediqi, 33, was charged in 3rd District Court with attempted murder and aggravated kidnapping.
Police said he physically restrained the victim in March and tried to strangle her multiple times. According to charging documents, he told her he was going to kill her.
After six days, when the victim was left alone, she was able to escape, according to the documents.
Police said Sediqi is also facing domestic violence charges in the state of Washington.
