FARMINGTON, Utah – Possible changes are coming to the Davis County Jail after 13 inmates have died there in the past decade.
The Davis County Sheriff’s Office is forming a panel that will look at changes to improve the safety of those housed in the facility. The move comes following lawsuits filed by the families of the inmates who died.
The panel includes a criminal justice professor from Weber State, a retired jail commander, a social worker, and a doctor.
