May 2, 2019, 5:27 PM | Updated: 5:30 pm

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — It debuted at number one and tonight, KSL’s investigative podcast Cold has been downloaded more than 17 million times.

The in-depth look at the Susan Powell case files has reached a world-wide audience.

But for host Dave Cawley, it was never about the number of listeners.

Tonight, he’s taking us back to the beginning of his investigation and looking forward to what’s still to come.

KSL TV’s Mike Headrick spoke with Cawley about the process and why he did it.

Listen to the interview above.

AND there’s much more to the conversation, including new interviews and video.

We’ve put together a special report: The Making of Cold.

You can watch it tonight at 7 p.m. exclusively on the KSL TV app.
