Police Offering $5,000 Reward In Unsolved Murder

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A new development came today in the killing of a 16-year-old West Valley City boy who was shot two years ago today.
Fernando Aranda was shot during an ambush attack while walking near his home on Thayn Drive. Now police say they’re offering a 5-thousand dollar reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to charges in the case.

“It is my sincere hope that by offering this reward we can get the last pieces of information that will bring all the puzzle pieces together and bring justice for Fernando, his family and our community,” WVCPD Chief Colleen Jacobs said today.
Police say they’re interested in talking to two people who go by the names Neto and Neseo.
