LOGAN, Utah — “My daughter is missing.”
It’s the 9-1-1 call that launched a five-day search for a missing girl in Logan.
That search ending tragically yesterday as police found Lizzy Shelley’s body.
The call was made at about 9:30 in the morning this past Saturday, the moment Lizzy’s mother and her boyfriend woke up to find her missing.
“Any idea where she might have gone — any family members nearby?”
“Her mom’s brother slept over — he’s gone too, but his skateboard is still here… but we woke up and the front door is wide open.”
“What’s the uncle’s name who spent the night?”
“Alex”
“Do you know where he went?”
“I have no idea… we just woke up and they’re gone.”
