LOGAN, Utah – Elizabeth “Lizzy” Shelley’s loved ones are preparing to lay the 5-year-old to rest.
There will be two public viewings before the girl’s funeral on Tuesday.
Monday’s viewing will be from 6 – 8 p.m., and Tuesday’s viewing will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., both at the Nyman Funeral Home, 753 S. 100 East, Logan. The funeral will follow directly afterward.
Waiving his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday, 21 year-old Alex Whipple admitted to the kidnapping, murder, and rape of his five year-old niece, Elizabeth Shelley.
