Gabrielle Union On Why She Gave Kodi Lee The Golden Buzzer

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Gabrielle Union, the newest judge on “America’s Got Talent,” used her Golden Buzzer for Utah native Kodi Lee.

“You just changed the world,” Union said after Lee performed his rendition of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song For You.”

Lee’s mother, Tina, told the judges that he is blind and has autism.

“You ask him to carry a simple conversation, and he just can’t do it,” Tina Lee told KSL TV in 2008. “The minute you put him on stage, it’s like he turns a hat and he’s a professional.”
