Crews Responding to Injured Paraglider in Utah County

UTAH COUNTY, Utah — Crews are responding to a crashed paraglider near the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon.
Sgt. Spencer Cannon with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said a report came in this afternoon of a paraglider seen falling to the ground
Crews have located the paraglider. He is in significant pain, but has been communicating with rescuers.
Sgt. Cannon said they are in the process of a hoist operation
He said there is no indication that the injuries are life-threatening. He did say the man is experiencing back pain and it appears to be serious.
