Police Search For Suspects In Early-Morning Stabbing, Robbery In Midvale

MIDVALE, Utah – Unified Police are looking for a group of suspects in a reported stabbing and robbery that happened in the early-morning hours Wednesday.
According to UPD Lt. Paul Barker, three people were attacked while they were walking in the area of 8200 South and Monroe Street just after 1:30 a.m.
The victims said a group of five to six Hispanic men wearing dark clothes attacked them, taking a backpack, wallet, cash and a cell phone. One of the victims was stabbed in the back with an unknown object and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The other two victims were punched and kicked, Barker said.
Police are attempting to track the cell phone. The suspects are still at large.
