SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Detectives said the person of interest in the disappearance of University of Utah student Mackenzie Lueck recently gave away a mattress and box springs.
Chief Mike Brown with the Salt Lake City Police Department said they want to speak with the person or persons who took possession of those items.
The items were posted online, on at least one classifieds site.
KSL found a listing at letgo.com. There was no description of the item – just a header that said “Free.”
“We are looking to find this mattress as well as a box spring in relation to this case,” police tweeted. “These items were possibly given away from 547 N. 1000 W. If you picked up these items please contact us at 801-799-3000.”
