SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Police have identified a motorcyclist who died after a crash Tuesday afternoon at 600 West and 400 South in downtown Salt Lake City.
Officials said Craig O. Kruse, 42, was traveling eastbound on 400 South when he collided head-on with a blue Acura RDX in the westbound lane after reportedly drifting across lanes, according to a Wednesday statement from Salt Lake City police. Kruse was pronounced dead on the scene.
There were three occupants inside the Acura, one of whom was transported to the hospital with very minor injuries, police said.
