SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A semi truck rollover closed down the I-80 ramp in South Salt Lake Wednesday afternoon.
All ramps to EB I-80 were closed, including I-15 NB, I-15 SB and SR201 collectors.
“Getting reports of a grass fire, but the fire on the semi has been put out,” Utah Highway Patrol tweeted. “Semi is showing 1.4 placard for explosives, but not currently a threat to the public.”
Trailer just has a small amount of commercial blasting caps inside. Hence, the need for the placard. Again, no threat to the public. pic.twitter.com/ww8iyaSS8G
