SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Contigo is recalling 5.7 million kids water bottles due to a potential choking hazard.

The affected models have a black spout base and a black spout cover. Only the bottles with the black spout base and cover are affected. “Contigo” is printed on the rim and along the front near the bottom of the bottle.
The water bottles were sold at Costco, Walmart, Target and other stores and online nationwide from April 2018 – June 2019.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled water bottles, take them away from children and contact Contigo for inspection instructions and a free replacement lid,” according to the USCPSC.
Consumers who purchased the Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottles can call 888-262-0622 from 6 a.m. -3 p.m. Mountain Monday – Friday, or go to gocontigo.com/recall for more information.
