Dry Canyon Fire Burns 20 Acres Near Utah County Homes

LINDON, Utah – A small wildfire has been reported burning near Dry Canyon in Utah County.
The fire was confirmed by officials at 3:41 p.m. Friday.
They said 20 acres burned and the fire was caused by an excavator moving rocks in the area.
Homeowners who reached out to KSL said they saw multiple fire crews responding to the area and officials had evacuated a few homes the area.
The fire was contained by 9 p.m. Friday and officials with the U.S. Forest Service said investigators were still investigating the incident.
