SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Officials are raising the reward for an escaped murder suspect in hopes it will lead to his capture.
Federal authorities have increased the reward for 56-year-old Blane Barksdale to $25,000 and placed him on the U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted list.
Barksdale and his wife, Susan, are accused of faking a medical emergency in Blanding during a transport to Arizona. They then reportedly overpowered two security guards and escaped.
The reward for Susan Barskdale is $10,000.
Officials said the pair should be considered armed and dangerous, and the two could be virtually anywhere in the United States by now.
