‘Expect Thunder’: Camp Williams Warns Public About Live-Fire Artillery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah National Guard on Monday sent out a reminder to the public at large: “Expect thunder.”
The warning came in a tweet reminding those near Camp Williams that regional training will be happening from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. until Sept. 25.
“Expect thunder today,” the tweet reads. “(Just a little reminder from your friendly neighborhood heroes at Camp Williams)”

“Those expected to be most affected by these events are residents of Bluffdale, Riverton, Herriman, Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs and Lehi,” according to a statement from the Utah National Guard.
Additional live-fire exercises will happen Oct. 22 – 24 and Nov. 20 – 22.
