Wildfire Burning In Southern Utah; Two Homes Threatened

PINTURA, Utah — A new wildfire has burned an estimated 10 acres in Washington County, according to officials.
The blaze, named the Spirit Fire, was visible from Interstate 15 in southern Utah Thursday night, about 7 miles north of Toquerville.
Fire authorities said they are investigating the cause but did say it was human-caused.
Two homes and three structures were threatened by the fire, which was 0% contained.
Officials said eight fire engines, one water tender and a bulldozer had been called in to fight the fire.
