Kanye West Performing ‘Sunday Service’ Saturday In SLC

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — An impromptu Kanye West concert will add to a jam-packed Saturday schedule in Salt Lake City.
Officials with The Gateway posted about the concert Friday evening, saying West will perform his “Sunday Service” concert Saturday at noon at The Gateway Plaza.

Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski alluded to the concert with a tweet, encouraging downtown visitors to use UTA services.

Biskupski also said to avoid areas around Saturday’s events. Beyond the concert at The Gateway, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is holding its semiannual General Conference with sessions at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and the March to End Child Abuse, which will begin at Salt Lake City Hall and end at the Utah State Capitol.
The concert will be free and open to the public, according to officials with The Gateway.
