SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begins on Saturday in Salt Lake City. Speakers will address a worldwide audience in morning and afternoon sessions throughout the weekend.

There will be a women’s session for all women and girls eight years of age and older Saturday at 6 p.m.

D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Michelle Craig, First Counselor in the Young Women General Presidency, Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and President Dallin H. Oaks spoke in the second half of the morning conference.

Saturday Afternoon
Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, President Russell M. Nelson, Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
President Nelson and Elder Cook spoke about organizational changes to the youth program. Those changes will go into effect in January 2020.
