A doorbell device with a built-in camera made by home security company Ring allows users to see video footage of who is at their front door when the bell is pressed or when motion activates the camera. Police Asking For Access To Doorbell Camera Footage

A recent report stated that by next year, smart security devices will be in 22 million American homes. Local police departments are hoping to have access to those cameras for the sake of tracking down would-be thieves and other criminals.
