SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – One Utah election promises to be a ruff political competition — the race for Salt Lake County pet mayor.
Voting begins Thursday, and the winning dog or cat will serve a two-year term of office. There will also be a pet deputy mayor as well as a pet council.
Voters can meed the candidates from 4 – 5 p.m. at the Salt Lake County Animal Services Building, 511 W. 3900 South, during the “Tea PAWty.”
