Water Main Breaks In West Jordan, Millcreek Repaired

WEST JORDAN, Utah — A second water main break occurred on 9000 South while crews were repairing a previous break, according to city of West Jordan officials.
The first break was reported Thursday at noon and the second break was confirmed before 3 p.m.
Officials said westbound traffic on 9000 South between 2700 and 3200 West was limited to one lane while crews work to repair the breaks.
The lane closure was lifted just after 6 p.m. Thursday.
Public Works has cleared 9000 S between 2700 W + 3300 W. No lane restrictions. Traffic is moving through the area. Follow up work will occur next week during off-peak hours. #westjordan @UDOTTRAFFIC @UDOTRegionTwo

Millcreek Water Main Break Repaired
Earlier Thursday, crews responded to a six-inch water main break near 1200 East and 3900 South in Millcreek. The break temporarily knocked out water to St. Marks Hospital; water has since been restored to the hospital.
Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities officials said the break has been repaired but eastbound traffic on 3900 South will be limited to one lane for up to one week while crews repair asphalt at the site.
