SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Polls across Utah close at 8 p.m. and KSL TV is here to keep you up to date with Utah’s 2019 election results.
A few key races we are keeping an eye include the race for Salt Lake City Mayor between Luz Escamilla and Erin Mendenhall and the race for North Ogden Mayor to replace the late Major Brent Taylor between S. Neal Berube and Lynn Satterthwaite.
Two Utah County cities, Vineyard and Payson, will be the first to participate in ranked choice voting.
Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen said the county will release a preliminary report shortly after 8 p.m. that will include the results from all early voting locations and the vote-by-mail ballots received, verified and processed up to Election Day.
Later reports Tuesday will be periodically released as the 28 vote centers close and return supplies to the County Government Center.
Swensen said the last report posted Tuesday night will be the Final Unofficial Report.
Vote-by-mail ballots turned in at vote centers, deposited at drop boxes Tuesday, received in the mail after Tuesday and provisional ballots cast at vote centers cannot be counted on Election Day.
Utah counties with their own election results page are included below; most counties will not have an update before 8 p.m.
Results will be updated as more votes are counted throughout the night.
