PROVO, Utah — Officials with the Provo Police Department announced their K-9 officer, “Trigger,” retired Thursday after eight years of service with the department.

Trigger was involved with 80-to-100 presentations for schools, youth and scout groups, and the citizen’s academy during his time with Provo PD and was deployed on over 400 drug sniffs, according to police officials.
