2 Men In Critical Condition After Plane Crash in Roy

ROY, Utah – Two men were taken to the hospital in critical condition after the small plane they were in crashed Sunday in Roy, Officer Stuart Hackworth, with Roy Police Department, said.
One man was taken by medical chopper and the other man was transported by ambulance.
A good Samaritan, who was trying to help after the plane crashed, was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. when a light plane hit a billboard and went down, Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Hull said.
Southbound lanes on I-15 in Roy were blocked and UHP tweeted that the lanes would remain closed until further notice.
I-15 southbound is closed in Roy until further notice due to a plane crash. Please use I-84 as an alternative to work around the incident. Northbound traffic please focus on driving while passing the incident so other crashes are avoided.
