Crews Tackle 7-Acre Fire At Camp Williams

Crews responded to a fire at Camp Williams in Utah County on Nov. 18, 2019.
BLUFFDALE, Utah – Crews on Monday responded to a fire at Camp Williams that burned approximately 7 acres, according to the Utah National Guard.
Officials in an afternoon tweet said the fire did no appear to be spreading quickly.
“The fire at Camp Williams has been reduced to only a few active flames thanks to the hard work and quick response of @eaglemtncity and @FireAuthority,” according to a tweet.

The fire started at approximately 11 a.m., and authorities reported the fire shortly after noon. By 1 p.m., the fire was holding at fire breaks, according to the Utah National Guard.
