5 Easy Exercises You Can Do Indoors This Holiday Season To Stay Active

PROVO, Utah – Now that you’ve polished off your turkey and Thanksgiving pie, it’s time to move. KSL news specialist Aley Davis met up with Suzanne Walton, an exercise therapist at the Utah Valley Live Well Center, to learn five easy exercises you can do in your home Thursday night and throughout the holiday season.

  1. Wide and narrow squats
  2. Alternating reverse lunges
  3. Triceps dips
  4. Toe touches
  5. Hip dips

Walton encouraged people to set their timers for seven minutes and start 30-second intervals of each exercise, with 10-second breaks in between each one. She encouraged people to exercise for at least 150 minutes each week, including at least a couple of days of strength training.
