Southern Utah K-9s Help Conduct ‘Major Drug Seizure’ On Bus

ST. GEORGE, Utah – K-9 officers helped police conduct a “major drug seizure” on a Greyhound bus, according to officials with the St. George City Police Department.
Officials said around 14 lbs. of suspected cocaine and 13 lbs. of marijuana were located and seized from luggage on the bus on Monday.
Both K-9 officers, Emma with the St. George City Police Department and Vinny with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, indicated a positive alert on the same piece of luggage and police said this was “just one example out of many that show how these well-trained and hard-working dogs benefit our community each and every day.”
