Poll Shows Lt. Gov. Cox Leading Former Governor Huntsman By Double Digits

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox has an 11-point lead over former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, according to a new poll from UtahPolicy.com.
The survey polled registered Republicans in the Beehive State.
Forty-one percent said they would vote for Cox if the election for governor were held today, and 29% said they’d vote for Huntsman.
Nine percent of Republicans said Rep. Rob Bishop would be their choice, and 6% chose Salt Lake County Councilmember Aimee Winder Newton. Businessman Jeff Burningham, former Utah House Speaker Greg Hughes and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes each polled at 5%, while 1% preferred former Utah GOP Chairman Thomas Wright.
Of all the choices, only Cox, Huntsman Winder Newton, and Burningham have officially announced candidacies.
