South Jordan Police Conducting Weekend DUI Blitz

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah – The South Jordan Police Department is warning people to “Drive sober or get pulled over” as they conduct a weekend DUI blitz.
According to the department, the blitz begins Friday morning and will last through Sunday.
Police are reminding citizens that alcohol isn’t the only substance that can impair driving. Authorities will also be looking for drivers who are under the influence of marijuana or other drugs.
Officials also warn that some over-the-counter prescription medications can cause impairment.
