SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The body of a Utah woman who went missing from her hotel room while on a business trip in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida has been found.
Kelly Glover, age 37, arrived in Florida Tuesday for a week-long trip. Her husband, Adam Bremer, said she was last seen Wednesday, leaving her phone and wallet in the hotel room she was sharing with a close friend, who joined in for the trip.
Bremer posted on Facebook that Glover’s body had been found.
“It is with broken hearts we share that Kelly Glover’s body was found around 12pm ET on January 11th,” the post read. “The family thanks everyone for their support and generosity during this time.”
Bremer had earlier told KSL his wife mysteriously went missing in the late hours of the night.

“Her friend woke up at 4 a.m. and realized my wife was gone, and the door was slightly opened,” said Bremer. “Was she hungry? Was she going to go out in the lobby? Did she hear something? Did somebody come in her room?”
He said the only footage the hotel has was of Glover walking out a side staircase at 2 am and toward an open swamp area, where crews were searching.
No details were released about where Glover was found, or if police believed the death to be suspicious.
Family members said funeral plans would be announced in Salt Lake City at a later date.

“They’ve already been searching with dogs. They had a helicopter,” he said. “The location we are at is a very swampy area with lakes and rivers. They’ve got a dive team, and they are doing all that they can.”
”I can confirm a report was made for the missing person,” said Fort Lauderdale Police Department Detective Tracy Figone. “Detectives are investigating and following up on any leads they get, but have no other details other than she has not been recovered at this time.”
Glover is the daughter of one of the owners of Glover Nursery in West Jordan. Her family at home is anxiously awaiting updates.
“We just have to trust and hope that, from everything that I’ve heard, the authorities and everybody down there is just doing everything they can to help,” said cousin Ryan Glover.
